Part I here
So I dolled up and it was weird to see how Mr J took his own sweet time showering and dolling up, while he was anxiously trying to get me ready right on time. Hm this is weird.
To top it all off, Liyen called me a few weeks earlier asking when was the birthday dinner. Mr J was next to me when I was pretty dumbfounded by, "What dinner are you talking about?" - I looked at Mr J and he snatched the phone away, and told Liyen, "Liyen. Thank you very much." Then he took the phone and walked a mile away. Ok, something is brewing yet I didn't think of guessing much.
So coming back to the dinner, I know Mr J is up to something but I have not a clue. I guess Liyen might be there since he kinda let the cat's leg out of the bag. Ironically, Liyen came home just half an hour before we left the house, and he told me he's bringing his other half out tonight and then, bring me out for a birthday dinner on another day. So I thought, well I guess it's gonna be without him. Still baffled by what is on Mr J's sleeves, I suppose my Sunway friends will be at the dinner since I missed them badly and we haven't met for three months!
Anyway, I probed a lil more and he said the restaurant is called -- Secret of Louisiana.
Hm, not so secretive anymore so I just tagged along Mr J's plan and here we are. Photos from the internet:

So coming back to me when I first saw that long table of friendssssssssss. I pretty much felt like,
This many people came --
It was an OMG OMG OMG MOMENT.
To sum it all up, it was my closest and most faithful Sunwayians bunch, new friends from Jon who I got really close to the past few months, and the three boys: Liyen, Kheng and Jian Shin. I received so much love and so many gifts I can't even....... *sob sob*
Genuinely surprised and by the time I walked to Eddy's seat I was trembling a lil and talking on top of my voice already. This is the greatest surprise of ALLLL times.
My whole 26 years of life and the past nine years in this city has never seen a birthday celebration for me, a celebration just for me. These people came, made the effort to surprise, kept mum for weeks - all to make me the happiest girl of the day :)
Some of the gifts I received include some real fancy stuff haha! Charlotte and Kim's attention to detail is impeccable:
From Daryl & Kim: Lovely pink roses which are crazy lovely! I have always had a never ending affection for roses and almost every jewellery I bought for myself is, or somewhat has a rose. My ultimate love is deep red roses, but this bunch of pink roses is beautiful too! It has now become my entrance greeting statement <3 br="">
Cupcakes from the Subang Utama clan: Not forgetting Charlotte's forte -- mini pink cupcakes, varied with three main icing designs: Dress, Crown and the usual whipped cream. Daryl & Kim also brought over another of my utmost fav - Pavlova! What is this... To make it sound like these two babes have bull-eye precision, Charlotte gave me a Ginger Flower cream from Loccitane. I mean, how crazy right?
Some of the gifts included champagnes from Kheng & Jenny, fragrances from Liyen & Yiwen, Whitesoot dresses (not so surprising haha) from the Sunwayian clan, and my meal covered by Mr J haha

Last but not least, the one who made this whole weekend such a joy, a moment so unforgettable that could carry me through the rest of my days -- the love of my life: Mr Jon Ooi.
The man who shares my soul, who enjoys my silly antics, who pampers me like a doll, who kisses me non stop just because he can, who understands me in totality, who gives all that he could to make me the happiest girl alive, who I am determined to spend the rest of my life with. You have made my life such a perfect grace, such a wonderful gift from God. And I want to indulge in laughing and crying with you for a very, very long time.
P/S: I'm sorry for having you read so much about me, myself and I! I am after all a writer and this is how I express my love, excitement, happiness and everything over and above my monotonous expressions *winks*
