Independent and strong.

It has been a difficult two weeks shouldering a big responsibility and spearheading it, but I am trained for this so I should not complain.

The task might be minute while this might lead to a life altering moment.

See, I screwed up my life once. I don't want to screw it all over again. 

And because history might just repeat itself, I badly need all the assurances I can have. Unfortunately they are trickling in.

A YouTube video I watched today featured a lesbian celebrity saying, "I always thought being independent is being strong, .... Being independent is about being happy,"

And so I shall be.
