I left my hometown Johor Bahru just nine years ago, which was also roughly the time I started this blog.
A lot has changed and as I return home to see what is like in JB, at the same time I was looking at what I used to be just ten years ago. Not good nor bad, just different.
Different like how I used to structure my sentence, how I asked for a favor, how I asked for the bill. Simple things like this can be influenced and changed through years of cultural and behavioral assimilation in another land.
The roots of JB never left me, it's me who left them.
