The people who hang out with me often will know that I am not attached to my phone and even if it rings like hell, I wouldn't pick it up, just because I don't feel like it.
I am a firm believer in email and texts because everything is in black & white, with every detail stated in. Whatever I need to know or convey is written and explained plainly. Also because I can read them at my own pace, and respond accordingly.
I hate random texts and calls from strangers or unknown numbers, because I am not prepared to what follows. Text me and let me know who is calling before ringing my phone to death. I hate it even more when I get strangers/unknown/international numbers texting me, "hi" or "are you busy?" without telling me who they are.
So if you're thinking about passing my number to someone I don't know - Please think twice. Stalkers creep me out and Salespeople irritates me. If I find out who passed my phone number around, I will not be polite. If you could be so rude, I could too.
