Thais are now Bumiputeras.

"Bumiputeras" simply translated: Prince of the Earth.
This title has been granted to the natives and Malays who actually came from Indonesia.

Now, this status has also been granted to the Thais. (Source: The Star)

I mean... Seriously?!
As a Malaysian Chinese, I grew up with the understanding that I am born a second class citizen. Instead of going against the fact or even think about countering, we accept the situation and work with the system. We know no matter how much we try and how much we contribute to the nation, and how much we boost the economy to save the other ethnicities, we are forever second class. That is the harshest truth in Malaysia.

And now the reason why bumiputera status is granted to Thais because they have unquestionable loyalty?
I have no qualms with Malays who have been enjoying the privileges since day one, because I have already accepted the way it is, and know how to work with it to squeeze the best out of every situation.

So now, the national ethnicity status here is far more unfair:

Ranked #1: Malays
Ranked #2: Orang Aslis - Kadazan, Ibans, Dusun, etc.
Ranked #3: Thais

Below #4: Chinese & Indians who happen to be serving this country with all loyalty.

TAMADE.
